Carpet Mites Would Covering The Carpet In My Room Help Prevent Dust Mites?

Would covering the carpet in my room help prevent dust mites? - carpet mites

I have recently blocked sinuses and I am sure that the mites in my bedroom.

I bought an air filter, and with all my bedding with dust mite covers, which helped a lot, but I wonder whether I am dealing with my carpet too?

My room is small, about 10'x12 ', and the carpet is thin and only about 5 years.

I wonder whether it was possible to cover the carpet with linoleum instead of all out of my room, tearing the carpet, then across the linoleum.
